Yet another picture from life drawing, the assignment was to illustrate the ending of a story, of which we were given only the first half (we had to write the rest.)  The robot was fairly straightforward, though I really don't draw robots (at all), but the alien was fun.  I wanted it to look as unusual as possible, and all the tentacles were inspired by Octavia Butler's Dawn books, which I had just read.
